Internship under 347P - Aerial and Orbital Image Analysis Group:I continued working with the STS Vision group to Validate and Verify CV algorithms to help retrieve the Mars samples for the Mars Sample Return mission using the robotic arm cameras in the Sample Return Lander.- Developed a new method using ML for Monocular single-image pose estimation for retrieving sample tubes from the Martian surface. The current manuscript is under review for publication.-Started developing a pipeline to generate synthetic data for Hazard Detection and Avoidance using the LuNaMaps tool.

Summer Internship under JPL 347R - Robot Ops and V&V Group:I worked with the STS Vision group to Validate and Verify CV algorithms to help retrieve the Mars samples for the Mars Sample Return mission using the robotic arm cameras in the Sample Return Lander.- Created simulations using Blender to simulate Mars-like conditions for testing scenarios picking tubes from Perseverance and the new Mars Helicopters.- Validated and aided in the design of the Testbed, which will validate the CV algorithms with props that simulate the real hardware.
