As the Director of Communications for the Presidential Precinct, I am responsible for the overall brand of the Precinct. I produce photo and video content, design print and digital materials such as our monthly newsletter, direct the Precinct's monthly podcast series, and maintain our existing webpage through Wordpress to clearly communicate the Precinct's vision externally. Recent work has also involved construction of the Presidential Precinct Network brand - marketing an online engagement platform to our program alumni in every region of the world.From the birthplace of modern democracy, the Presidential Precinct engages and inspires emerging leaders to address the most pressing challenges in their countries. Over 1,000 leaders from 150 countries have joined the Presidential Precinct’s programs and returned home to invest their knowledge, expertise, and networks to transform the lives of millions worldwide.

In this role as the Multimedia Communications Associate for Chaski Global, I promote Chaski's vision for storytelling and data visualization through video-based media. This primarily includes thoughtfully directed interviews and event live streaming services. As a team, we combine video interviews, social media strategies, graphic design, and animation to clearly capture clients' developing brands into fast-paced and engaging content.Chaski Global works to redefine storytelling by creating short-term and long-term communications plans. Services involve data visualization, managing media relations, event management, media training, and video production. The leadership of Chaski Global has worked in 26 countries focused on the intersection of business and policy, and clients span the public, private, NGO, academic and multi-lateral banking sectors.

OpenGrounds offered an incredible networking opportunity during my time at UVA. I focused on photo, video, and graphic production while OG was first working to introduce its brand to students on Grounds. This role developed into consulting through the preliminary stages of the OpenGrounds Virtual Network, an initiative to make information more readily available across the University grounds through the recording of guest speakers and lecturers.OpenGrounds generates new ideas that will make a difference, connecting people and inspiring action across boundaries within and beyond the University. With programs that connect diverse individuals and groups in physical places and global networks, OpenGrounds builds creative, collaborative partnerships between individuals and institutions to generate innovative solutions for critical societal needs.

For my brief stint in the news industry, I led a staff of twelve in producing video content for the online platform of The Cavalier Daily, cavalierdaily.com. Our video section was only a year old at the time, so our team was responsible for building a necessary equipment inventory and answering the call of an increasingly digital news cycle. As an editor, I was responsible for consistent production of content (breaking and feature news stories), equipment and software training for our staff, and consistent collaboration with other sections of the paper. Even outside of my term as editor, I completed a full series that covered the 2012-2016 Rotunda renovation project, still available on the Cavalier Daily's YouTube channel.The Cavalier Daily is Virginia’s oldest collegiate daily and the oldest daily newspaper in Charlottesville, Va. Since the summer of 1996, The Cavalier Daily has been the only daily newspaper at the University, with a print circulation of 10,000 distributed on Grounds and in the surrounding Charlottesville area.
