Hey there, thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Daniel Price, I would consider myself determined to learn new skills and expand my knowledge. Currently i am a second year student at The University of Auckland, studying a double major in accounting and finance. I aspire to work towards my charted accounting degree to work in an accounting firm, while also taking a major in finance out of interest. When something interests me I like to peruse it, expanding my understanding. This is shown in my own personal hobbies in investments within the stock market and crypto markets. I have also applied this to my work environment in Domino's. When I first started working as a delivery driver and taking the opportunity to learn more and become a shift runner who manages the floor when my managers are finished. This had lead to many people skills I have had to develop as customer service is not easy at times. My work history extends to other areas such as stock takes for clients at the end of the financial year for Grant Thornton to gain early experience in a CA firm environment. Expanding my skills in personal and team management, prioritizing work to accommodate for whats needed, a greater initiative to do tasks by myself as well as hospitality which I gained from completing my bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh award. These skills has helped me grow as a leader and understand the importance of working in a team.
