Head of MEP Projects

• Accountability for the project delivery of heavy-infrastructure Projects • Identification of innovative technologies and methodologies to deliver efficient Heavy-Infrastructure Projects. • Co-ordination of project matters with other DP World Head Office & Business Units• Co-ordination with Business Units in relation to reporting of planning, budgeting, technical compliance and delivery of projects• Direct procurement for implementation or medium/lower size projects using DPW’s internal resources • Technical evaluation of Consultant Tender submission and Lead value Engineering and optimization • Supervise consultant production of tender documentation (Specifications and Drawings)• Provide support to preparation of contract documentation• Support the preparation of Tender Documentation for Contractors (directing Civil Consultants)• Undertake tender technical evaluations, support negotiations and make technical recommendation for the award of Heavy Infrastructure Works• Lead Member of terminal 4 development in DPWorld Jabel Ali

• Supervising a team of 25 for high voltage jobs carried out in 3 terminals • Design of new HV,MV and LV systems• Monthly reports to director of Engineering and maintenance.• Planning CAPEX for new terminal and OPEX for existing terminals• Acting as project manager for all Electrical high voltage projects and new cranes projects.• Project manager for Electrification of existing fuel operating cranes• Conducting safety awareness session and HSE member.

• Perform the following type’s power system studies for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities as required by project specifications: Short-Circuit Study Electrical Equipment Evaluation Different Protective Device Coordination Arc-Flash Hazard Analysis Load Flow Analysis Motor Starting Study Harmonic Analysis Cable Ampacity Study Under frequency load shedding program designing and executing • Generate a written Study report detailing system analysis, methodology, calculation results and their significance to system operation. Analysis results into a comprehensible executive summary and action items. Proficient with SKM Power System Analysis Software and/or similar software • Engage in marketing, project management, and mentoring activities• Mentoring and personal management for graduate trainees• KPI report for the department• Negotiation with third party regarding services provided to Dewa• Benchmarking dewa to international standards.• Cable rating study and selection1. Identifying engineering risk and analyze high failure rates through conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and subsequently suggesting solutions 2. Up-grading and modernizing systems and equipment• Address engineering risks and high failure rates: Find prudent solutions, evaluate options, conduct cost benefit analyses, make recommendations, and present the business case for decision maker’s review.• Manage obsolescence and product life cycle of the systems and equipment • Keep pace with technological changes. 3. Critically monitoring and suggesting best maintenance and operation practices in order to optimize value from the asset and minimizing the life cycle cost of ownership.

• Supervising & Taking care of all jobs carried out in power & desalination plant.(Generator, Generator transformer FR5 25MVA/FR9B 90MVA 14KV/132KV.
