I am an experienced medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Townsville and Icon Cancer Centre Wesley. With a passion for clinical research and precision oncology using theranostics and genomic markers, I am dedicated to delivering personalised treatment plans for those in my care. I completed specialist medical oncology training at Calvary Mater Hospital followed by an oncology clinical trials research fellowship at Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer. I pursued further specialist training in molecular imaging and use of novel radiopeptide cancer treatment (theranostics). I maintain a strong interest in education, research and clinical trials, actively engaging in medical student and registrar education. I am a senior clinical lecturer at James Cook University and Macquarie University. I have co-authored several journal articles, developed clinical oncology protocols and been an investigator in early and late phase clinical trials. I am an invited speaker at national and international medical conferences. I am an alumnus of the London Imperial College Business School MBA Program. My clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in melanoma, pancreatic, breast and colon cancer. I have extensive experience in radiolabelled peptide treatment (theranostics) in prostate cancers and lead the Macquarie University Hospital (MMI) Theranostics Program. I have an interest in benefit of medicinal cannabis as an adjunct in cancer care.
