Athlete Focused delivers holistic athletic development to individuals across a number of different sporting disciplines across Scotland. We have four key pillars of performance: Training, Nutrition, Psychology and Physiotherapy. My role is to deliver the Training pillar and coordinate the wide range of services we offer. As each client gets a bespoke package I manage the support services to allow the client to get the most from each service and coordinate the team to works efficiently towards the end goal. Our clients include the Scotland Womens Football Team, Cricket Scotland Womens National Team, Scottish Hockey Mens U21 team, Glasgow Rocks British Basketball League team, The High School of Glasgow Rugby squad, City of Glasgow Swim Team and various Scottish Premier League Footballers and individual athletes.Our Training pillar focuses on long term athlete development to help our clients to continually improve and reach new levels throughout their athletic career. We use various evidence based practices to improve our clients physical fitness including:- Strength and conditioning- Exercise physiology testing- Youth athlete development sessions- School summer camps- Education seminarsOur Nutrition pillar is led by a Masters level Sport and Exercise Nutriton expert who is a current chef and strength and conditioning coach so is able to manage both your energy intake and physical training load. Our services include:- Body composition analysis- MyFitness Pal education and review- 1-2-1 education- Meal planning- In-home chef- Cooking lessonsThe Psychology pillar of Athlete Focused is led by a PhD level Mental Performance coach who works to improve psychological skills to improve performance. Our services include:- 1-2-1 psychological skills training- Team support- Coach psychological skills trainingThe physiotherapy services at Athlete Focused are led by our sister company Physio Focused of which I am also Managing Director.
