The overall aim of my research and job is to enable patient specific radiotherapy delivery more accurate and precise by developing the predictive algorithm and radio biological modelling algorithms, introducing new stringent patient specific QA in SRS & SBRT, reducing the dose error between the calculated and measured dose for moving tumors in SBRT, analyze the feasibility of new radiation delivery techniques in SBRT. With my research I hope to reduce the side effects related to radiation therapy and improve the outcomes, with a better quality of life for the patients. Professional experience of more than 8 years in Radiation Oncology Physics with handling the equipment viz. Elekta Versa HD, Varian Trilogy Tx Linac, Accuray Cyberknife Robotic VSI and Elekta Gamma Knife Perfexion. Experienced in implementing new radiation oncology equipment, systems, and clinical techniques including acceptance, commissioning, and QA of external beam radiation therapy equipment. Expertize in Shielding calculation and safety assessment for Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic radiology department. Patient treatment planning 3DCRT, IMRT/IGRT, VMAT, SRS/SRT, SBRT and Brachytherapy is a part of my routine task . Having good command on various TPS like Varian Eclipse, Elekta Monaco, CMS XiO, Accuray Multiplan and Varian Brachyvision. Experience in comprehensive QA and regulatory requirement compliance for a Radiation Oncology department.
