As a former Resident Psychiatrist at two prestigious medical colleges, I honed my skills, merging academic excellence with hands-on expertise.As the Deputy Director at Aaladamara Foundation, I oversee the operations of three Emergency Care and Recovery Centers (ECRCs) across Bengaluru, providing a total of 80 beds for homeless individuals and vulnerable populations. One of these centers operates in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, where I lead efforts to ensure effective mental health care delivery.In addition to managing multidisciplinary teams across these centers, I engage in strategic dialogue with government bodies to advocate for and implement mental health initiatives for underserved groups. My work involves developing outreach programs, ensuring holistic care, and fostering long-term recovery and reintegration.With extensive experience in the National Mental Health Programme and as a Consultant Psychiatrist, I am dedicated to bridging gaps in mental health services and driving systemic change to make care accessible to all.
