As part of a six month, fixed-term contract, I have;- Delivered a range of modules in areas of Human and Social Geography corresponding to undergraduate programmes in BA Human Geography and BA Geography. - Designated Module Leader for a second-year and third-year module and supervised twelve Human Geography dissertations.- Adapted, developed and delivered a range of lectures and seminar-based classes designed to meet specific learning outcomes in line with the university’s generic marking criteria (levels 4-6).- Marked work in line with the appropriate assessment criteria, policy and procedures, including second marking and moderation, and provided high-quality constructive written feedback.- Provided support to other staff with the completion of modules, ranging from tutorial guidance and research direction, to specific methodological knowledge and geographical application.- Demonstrated strong leadership skills as a Secondary Lead Supervisor on the second-year foreign research trip to Amsterdam, playing an active role in its organisation, preparation and dissemination. This included a role as a field trip assistant on the first-year’s visit to Cumbria.- Designated dissertation supervisor for eleven upcoming second-year students, organising 1-2-1 session to help students develop individual research topics to conduct research and data collection for their third-year dissertations.
