Key Responsibilities: • Medical assessment of the safety profile of the client's product range. • Evaluation of Adverse Events. • Medical review of aggregate reports. • Medical review of case reports from medical enquiries (MICC) • Performing signal management for client’s medicinal products. • Evaluation and finalization of risk management plan. • Preparing Clinical Expert Statements as per client requirement in consultation with line manager and other senior team members. • Literature review for selection of ICSR and article of interest (for signal detection and aggregate reports). • Provide guidance and participation in the follow-up of Adverse Events. • Conduct training to other team members on Pharmacovigilance processes in medical relevant topics and provide presentations on medical topics (various drugs & diseases). Also, provide training to associates on various medical relevant SOPs. • Provide back-up medical support to Drug Safety Physicians & Senior Drug Safety Physicians on products/projects where required. • Possess knowledge of local and national requirements for pharmacovigilance requirements. • Interact with other members of the Medical Safety department to resolve any issues that arise during reviews. • Assist in the maintenance of all relevant records & minutes of meetings. • Contributing to the on-going enhancement of Pharmacovigilance processes and writing Standard Operating Procedures or other proprietary documents as needed. • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and Company global pharmacovigilance requirements. • All the key responsibilities will be carried out under the guidance of Drug Safety Physicians and/or Senior Drug Safety Physicians. • Ensures that communication with all relevant people is of a high professional standard, and that records of both internal and external communication are maintained.
