Selected to act as one of three U.S. Army Warrant Officer Career College (USAWOCC) Academic Department Heads. Directly responsible for mentorship and oversight of a small team of military, civilian, and contract department instructors. Regularly required to analyze, enhance, or even create new curricula for all levels of Warrant Officer Students. Responsible for providing post-secondary and graduate-level classes to more than 2500 Warrant Officer Candidate School, 1000 Intermediate Level Education, and 300 Senior Service Education students annually on topics specifically aligned with US Military History, Doctrine, Communication, and Leadership. Also focused on serving as the Military History Research Chair and the shaping of the USAWOCC publication, Strength in Knowledge.Accomplishments: I presented research at the Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference in 2021 and 2022, and had two additional papers published for IITSEC 2023. I was also fortunate to present a scholarly paper on the need for a greater Army philosophy of education at the 2022 Army University Learning Symposium. I was named the 2022 Warrant Officer Historical Foundation non-resident fellow and continued the Cohort W podcast for a second season during my annual project. Finally, I received an Army Commendation Medal for the creation of the journal, Strength in Knowledge. Strength in Knowledge: The Warrant Officer Journal is published by Army University Press, and I managed the publication through creation and its first four issues.

As the Senior Warrant Officer Advisor for 2-10 Assault Helicopter Battalion, 10thCombat Aviation Brigade (CAB), I was responsible for advising and assisting the Battalion Commander, Company Commanders, staff, and 54 assigned Warrant Officers on any and all matters pertaining to Warrant Officer actions. My key role was to provide specific executive-level Internal communications across multiple organizations to best ensure utility and development of key technically oriented personnel. This work primarily involved coordinating all Warrant Officer Professional Military Education Courses, Warrant Officer professional development sessions (Mentorship and Development intensives), and providing HR data on accessions, promotion readiness, and career advancement. I also communicated and coordinated directly with the Brigade Command Chief Warrant Officer and the Human Resource Command UH-60 Branch Managers on assignments, evaluations, and professional development opportunities for all assigned Warrant Officers. Finally, I also performed duties as a UH-60M Standardization Pilot assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company and conducted training and evaluation of Rated and Non-Rated Crew Members across three flight companies in Day, Night, and Night Vision Goggle modes of flight.

I was the officer in charge of the UH-60 Academics Section at USAACE. I supervised and oversaw the training of 22 Department of Army Civilians, conducting over 2,000 hours annually of advanced technical aircraft specific instruction to over 1000 flight students. During this time, I managed the development, design, execution and QA for six different programs of instruction. Finally, I was a UH-60 systems instructor and responsible for providing graduate level training on UH-60 systems.

Flight activities included movement of personnel, VIPs, and equipment (to included external loads and cargo) all over the Midwest. During this time, our organization was deployed to Iraq from 2007 to 2009 for a total of 15 months serving as a key joint partner in the success of the Army during the "surge" in Iraq. Additional duties within the company included serving as the company arms room officer and armorer, equal opportunity leader, and unit prevention Leader. As an arms room officer, I was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all company weapon systems, frequently ordering and managing on-hand technical supply and conducting limited repairs. As equal opportunity leader, I provided consistent training and education on the Army's DEI policy, fair treatment of all team members, and improved team relationships. Finally, I was called upon to facilitate the Army's Substance Abuse program and training for the entire company, thereby tending to the greater wellbeing of all team members and directly impacting organizational health.Accomplishment: While in Kansas, I received an Army Achievement Medal for my work developing training for the entire battalion on Survival, Escape, Resist, and Evasion techniques that resulted in all aircrews being successfully trained before a combat deployment.
