I have received Ph.D. degree from the Department of the Food and Nutrition, Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. My comprehensive work included assessment of nutritional status, physical activity, knowledge, attitude and dietary practices, risk of depression among overweight and obese pregnant women and its association with pregnancy outcome. I am UGC-NET qualified and have been awarded with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2015. I have 2 years of experience working in academic domain which includes teaching, preparing course curriculum, mentoring students for research projects and counselling. My scholarly endeavors include 7 published papers in quality peer-reviewed journals with 75+ citations, contributing valuable insights to the field of maternal health. I have also presented her papers and shared her perspective on current maternal health scenario at International and National Conferences. My wide interests encompass Public Health Nutrition, Prenatal and Postnatal Nutrition. I am member of Indian dietetic Association (IDA), Nutrition Society of India (NSI) and Epidemiology Foundation of India (EFI).
