Himachal Pradesh Mid-Himalayan Watershed Development Project (HPMHWDP)-World Bank aidedRoles and Responsibilities:Overall In-charge of the Evaluation of the final Impact assessment of Himachal Pradesh Mid Himalayan Watershed Development Project (HPMHWDP-World Bank aided). Handled the whole team for the project and carried out the Evaluation of the Mid Himalayan watershed management programme in Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi

Roles and Responsibilities to:• Draw up a list of priority NTFPs and MAPs, and other SHG produces in consultation with HPFD, other stakeholders and members of Survey Team.• Collect data from primary and secondary sources (from within the state as well as trading centres outside the state) on the following:• Potential of the prioritized produces - NTFPs and MAPs, Horticulture, Vegetables, and other SHG produces• Analyze past and current production of these produces including the trends in production• Status of procurement and trade of these produces (Systems, processes, institutional arrangements, major markets, issues and challenges etc.)• Analyse the role of local markets/ Mandis in trading of produces• Observe and analyze the pricing mechanism and factors influencing the pricing mechanisms• Insight of current efforts for domestication of NTFPs and MAPs, and issues and challenges in domestication and marketing• Study the current efforts for value addition (including use of technology, standardization and certification etc.) and challenges• Account of existing successful models in the state for value chain development and market access• Analyze consumption patterns – local within the state, in the country and export (current demands and future projections)• Data analysis and report writing, which included:• Existing value chain of prioritized produces• Issues and challenges in market access• Recommendations for value chain development of key products (NTFP/ Medicinal Plants and non-NTFP products)• Road map for enterprise development and market access

Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), a watershed development component under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)Responsibilities included:Over all in charge of monitoring and Evaluation activities in North Eastern States. Provide leadership and guidance, coordinate the entire ME activities. Interface with DoLR andSLNAs.( North East Region) India.Responsible for regular submission of reports as per schedule.Attend Regular process monitoring reviews at the DoLR and make presentation.

I have been working research on the projects related to Forest communities, Ecology & Environment and Socioeconomic studies, I have been trained in Project Monitoring and Evaluation of Social, Market, Agriculture and watershed Management projects.

Worked on Projects of Socioeconomic and Rural development, carried out intensive data analysis and DPR Preparation and handling the projects on Socioeconomic studies, Environment, Forestry, Rural Development and carried out the Monitoring and Evaluation of the projects.
