I'm currently doing MD in Radiation Oncology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, 2023 batch.I completed my MBBS degree from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in 2018 March.I started work as Junior Resident doctor on voluntary basis at Amritakripa Charitable hospital for tribals, a satellite centre of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences from March 2019 till February 2021.While working here I was involved in Out-patient care, referral services and Out-reach services for tribals. Working here was an important learning curve in general practise in a primary healthcare setting with most of the patient load comprising of underprivileged section of the society. I was also able to take part in various awareness programmes, screening and medical camps by specialists visiting the hospital on a monthly basis. I was also given the opportunity to contribute towards research regarding prevalence of Communicable diseases & NCDs like Oral cancer, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism and their relationship with changing lifestyle and living conditions of tribals.
