I am working as a Researcher (tenure track) in Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark. Currently, I am working on vehicle battery storage for green transport and grid stability in the Nordics (Best4Grid). During my Postdoc at Technical University of Denmark (DTU), I have worked on large-scale thermo-mechanical energy storage technologies (pumped thermal energy storage and liquid air energy storage) with an aim to facilitate higher renewable energy penetration in the electric grid. I completed my PhD from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Indore with the research focus on thermal sciences. During my PhD, I carried out research on “phase change materials for thermal management and thermal energy storage applications”. During my PhD, I also worked as a visiting research scholar at Purdue University, USA.
