The Whitehall & Industry Group (WIG) is an independent charity and membership organisation, whose role is to champion learning and understanding between the sectors.Key responsibilities: - Strategic lead on diverse portfolio covering WIG's 'Trade & International Affairs' and 'Environment & Climate Change' programmes, as well as UK-wide engagement strategy and policy consultation support- Research and production of engagement activities bringing together senior cross-sector leaders to address the big societal issues; enabling collaboration and peer-to-peer learning for better policy creation- Leading a team of 3, with accountability across coordination and delivery of face to face and virtual programme encompassing 120+ events a year - Relationship management across central Whitehall departments and FTSE 100 private sector members- Design and creation of written content, reports, and briefings to support organisational aims and objectives· Line management and recruitment, with a focus on supporting my team’s personal and professional development

· Full responsibility for the strategic direction, production, and execution of a portfolio of international events focussed on decarbonisation and environmental sustainability in the maritime industries· Building key stakeholder relationships, notably with the UN IMO to stay up to date on policy developments and secure the definitive speakers across my events· Working closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to generate in excess of £800k per annum across sponsorship and delegate revenue, operating at a minimum GP margin of 60%· Mentoring new starters and supporting junior conference producers in the team to successfully produce events within the portfolio

Conducting in-depth research and analysis to produce market leading seminars and conferences for the maritime industries. Focussed on sustainable shipping and decarbonisation through Green tech and environmental regulation (air pollution controls, alternative fuels, electric and hybrid propulsion).In 2018 I produced BWMTech NA in Fort Lauderdale, which achieved the highest ever Explori customer ranking score for any event recorded globally across both Informa and UBM, and was finalist for an Informa award.

As a Content Producer at Ascential events I researched and analysed trends in the energy from waste, circular economy, and broadcast media industries to produce compelling live & digital content for leading large scale events RWM & BVE.
