Functional head for Engineering, Utilities and Power function. - To plan, manage and ensure the uninterrupted supplies of all Utilities to the Plant and Colonies.- To ensure O & M of Boiler, ETP, STP and Compressors and other utilities machineries.- To ensure availability of Power Plant as budgeted, procurement of power from Grid/Open Access when TPP under annual maintenance. - To explore various fuel combination at Power Plant to reduce SFC and for reduction of carbon emission. To explore renewable energy. - To provide engineering related services to the Plant for meeting quality production target, as per Budget. - Responsible for Energy Conservation, Water conservation and Waste reduction. - Responsible to meet the targets of PAT cycle II. - Responsible to maintain Government norms for Air and Water Pollution.- Responsible for Liaison with Govt officials like, Pollution Board/Electricity Board/Boiler Inspectorate and Electrical inspectorate.- Responsible for nurturing and developing human resources. - Responsible to develop team for effective Spares management/Indigenous spares development - Responsible for Inventory management. - Identification of training needs.- Responsible for Renewable Power Obligations- Company representative for ISO 14001- Company representative for OHSAS 18001- Company representative for ISO 50001- Lead Auditor for ISO 50001- IRCA Certified Sustainability assurance Practitioner- Certified Internal auditor for ISO 18001- Certified Business excellence Assessor for Business categories- Change champion for Infrastructure and Asset management subcommittees- Change champion for Work environment and EHS subcommittees
