CurrentAs the Instrumentation and Control General Manager, - I oversee all I&C engineering activities for critical field projects, ensuring systems are designed, constructed, and commissioned to the highest safety and technical standards.Affiliated with BP, a global leader committed to delivering secure, affordable, and lower-carbon energy, I served as Project Engineer and MOC Team Leader, supporting PhPC’s onshore and offshore gas facilities. My role involved overseeing instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, managing modifications, and ensuring projects were executed to BP’s high standards- My role includes providing technical guidance, maintaining compliance with best practices, and ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.Key Responsibilities:- Managed day-to-day I&C project execution, ensuring compliance with approved Scope of Work, design drawings, and safety/environmental standards.- Conducted Cause & Effect reviews and oversaw the design, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.- Supported EPC offshore platform proposals, performing site surveys, field engineering, and preparing specifications and bid evaluations.- Supervised contractor instrumentation construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved methods, schedules, and quality standards.- Developed and implemented the Construction Execution Plan, covering contracting strategies, staffing, and management systems.- Attended FATs for DCS & ESD systems and telecom systems (CCTV, PAGA), ensuring compliance with project requirements.- Participated in bid clarification and kick-off meetings, providing technical input on fabrication scopes and contract documentation.- Collaborated with site teams (electrical, instrumentation, HSE) to meet safety, quality, and environmental goals.- This role demonstrates my ability to lead complex I&C projects efficiently while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with EGAS and industry expectations.
