2009 - 2011: Converted the content from a clinical service for the remediation of literacy difficulties (including dyslexia), into a ‘disruptive’ online educational product called WordsWorthLearning© that embraces clinical, educational, social and political solutions to the cycle of illiteracy. 2017 - 2019: involved in an EU Research Project (AHA) led by University College Dublin to introduce Augmented Reality objects into our online programme - to help schoolchildren diagnosed with ADHD to improve their literacy skills.2019: WordsWorthLearning (WWL) partner in an EU funded H2020 Project Partnership called "ARETE" - which involves an exceptional pan-european range of expertise ranging from academia, clinical, technical and creative experts, schools and parents.As providers of an existing online programme (WWL) for improving literacy skills, we will will introduce augmented reality (AR) with multi-user, gamification and some adaptive learning features to create a disruptive educational mobile APP. We will help to define the framework and interoperability requirements for an innovative digital learning ecosystem.

  Continuing – design, develop and operate disruptive online educational products for teaching reading and spelling. In 2009, I discovered the exceptional work of Rita Treacy, a Speech & Language Therapist, who specialises in Dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. With the progress of digital convergence (i.e. faster broadband, video podcasting and interactive graphics) we began working together to develop an online version of her literacy programme to make it widely available and affordable. Rita Treacy’s ground-breaking work has been converted into an interactive web application called WordsWorthLearning©. It is a working prototype that is constantly being enhanced to include new features e.g. adaptive learning, gamification and augmented reality.
