Raised over £1m of research grants from EU and UK government with industry support. Key projects were:• Development of superconducting composite permanent magnets for synchronous motors: an enabling technology for future electric aircraft. (EPSRC £500k). Initiated project with contact at Airbus. 10 partners led by Oswald Elektromotoren and including Rolls-Royce.• Investigation of composite superconducting bulks for high field permanent magnet applications and magnetic levitation in bearings (€210k). Fully funded by SKF, largest global producer of bearings.

www.evolutivelabs.comEmployed to help publicise the launch of an impact resistant mobile phone screen protector devolved by a Cambridge University colleague and launched in 2013 as well as a mobile phone bumper launched in 2014.• Invented the brand name ‘Rhino Shield’ for the products which have become the best selling phone accessory brand in Taiwan • Produced scripts and voiceovers for Kickstarter and YouTube marketing videos which have over 630k views• Involved in two Kickstarter campaigns which raised over £400k in total
