Being the DPM of the Capital District of the Kerala State , Involved in all the aspects of National and State health programmes under all Health as well as allied sectors. Established strong inter sectoral coordination during this period with multiple stakeholders. Involved in formulation and implementation of various flagship programmes under RMNCH+A , NCD and Communicable diseases. Effectively reformed and strengthened the State Health tele helpline along with Tele-consultation services During COVID-19 pandemic was instrumental in supporting the District for pandemic preparedness , infrastructure strengthening , managing human resources and streamlining the supply chain in coordination with respective stakeholders. Primary healthcare strengthening through AARDRAM programme was effectively implemented through out the district also with emphasis on Quality assurance. Establishment of Model District Early Intervention Centre along with mobile intervention units for delivery of Child Health services was undertaken. The operationalisation of Diabetic Retinopathy program (Nayanamritam)and COPD Rehabilitation clinic under SWAAS program are novel interventions during this tenure.The incorporation of technology for Anaemia screening among the vulnerable populations using a handheld haemoglobinometer was initialised involving the community participation.

Worked as District Program Manager National Health Mission Kerala in Alappuzha District for 2 years. Involved in the operationalisation of various National and State Health Programs in the District in the domains of RMCH+A, NCD , CD and Health System Strengthening. Specific Interventions during this period includes the roll out of the ambitious programme of the Kerala Government in health sector AARDRAM. Launched the model adolescent friendly health centre in Urban Setting of Kayamkulam Muncipality and Adolescent Health programme in the district. Involved in the operationalisation of the MR vaccine programme and its management. Formulated the guidelines and implementation strategy for water ambulances in the District along with linkage of 108 Ambulance Network. Launched the quality improvement initiative in the district with focus on NQAS , KASH and LaQshya programmes.Supported the district team during the severe floods of 2018 by launching a control centre and ensuring proper services.

Actively taken lead in the roll out of Ayushman Bharat - HWCS program in UPHCs of thestate. Also participated in various national level review meetings and disseminationworkshops in connection with the NUHM -HWC initial transformation phase.
