God wrote a book.The local church then becomes a place where people gladly share their life in the context of relationships, centered in the content of scripture pursuing the cause of an increasing joy in God expressed in our everyday lives.The local church, the people pursuing Christ, is Gods vehicle to display his glory to the world.I cannot imagine a better space to invest.
