I have always been a curious learner and passionate about building things which has led me into the world of entrepreneurship. I am currently the CEO at UI Charitable Advisors where I spearhead initiatives that empower high-net-worth individuals to achieve their philanthropic objectives while nurturing the next generation of social impact leaders. Previously, I was the CEO and co-founder of EcoScraps which was acquired by Scott’s Miracle-Gro (NYSE: SMG) where I was a Director for their sustainability and hydroponic business unit. I have led sustainability initiatives with the US State Department, United Nations World Food Programme, Amazon, Google, Home Depot, Walmart, and some of the world’s largest food companies etc.I have been featured on the Discovery Channel, named one of the top Social Impact Entrepreneurs in the USA by Bloomberg Businessweek, and have been featured as the cover story in both Inc. Magazine and Forbes. I studied English at BYU where I currently serve as an adjunct professor and am on the board of advisors for the Ballard Center for Social Impact.
