About Brian Meacham

As a Material Scientist I am skilled in experimental research techniques that lead to material discoveries in the laboratory. As a Materials Engineer I am an expert in commercialization where discoveries are transferred to industrial manufacturing. I have co-commercialized over 25 nano-structured steel and bulk metallic glass products consisting of sheet steel, thin foil, fibers and microwires, atomized metal powders and cored wires.I discovered that the order pattern of antiphase domains in Sm-Fe alloys had twin symmetry. This was a new structural feature that had not been seen in antiphase domains before and was called ideal and rebel ordering.
