Led and grew an Artificial Intelligence capability (Machine Learning and Machine Vision) which I started in Dec. 1996 very much in a hands on way. We R&D the AI (Genetic Programming) publishing 100+ papers on early advances, then we developed/programming and took practical products from our own R&D all the way to operation in areas as diverse as defence.

Gained significant experience in IT technology by computerizing the entire computational aided engineering capability of this company. At times teams of 250 engineers from five engineering design disciplines used my creations that relied on leading edge software environments and databases to concurrently work to design North Sea oil platforms for clients.
