In my time at e-conomic, I’ve been a driver in modernising the architecture of our legacy iOS codebase, and converting the codebase to use Swift Concurrency (async / await, actors etc). I’ve also worked extensively with our Bitrise CI setup, spearheading an initiative to integrate it with our backend’s Github Actions CI.

Since 2015 I've worked closely with the fine people at Child Experience Design on the Hopspots project.Hopspots is a product bringing active learning to schools and institutions teaching children between the ages of 6-16 (Danish Folkeskole), with focus on student content-creation and active learning. It consists of 12 discs placed on the floor, wirelessly connected to an iPad, and a dock containing a speaker and charging docks for the discs.I've been responsible for most aspects of Hopspots' software design and development cycle. Additionally I've worked closely with the hardware development team on integration, informing the direction and nature of the hardware development process.We've come a long way here, and I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved.For a more detailed and slightly technical breakdown of some of the cool things that I've done here, check out my 'Projects' section.

I'm a long-time user of the open source Parse platform. I have also helped maintain, and contributed features to, their Apple clients and infrastructure.

While employed at KMD I worked on a large project for the Danish Tax Office. My responsibilities were diverse, ranging from information architecture, requirement specification and interaction design of a large component, to implementation of the Enterprise Java backend and Oracle Service Bus configuration.I also worked on Elevplan; a project for the Danish Ministry of Education which caters to the needs of students and employees involved with vocational schools in Denmark. I acted as a consultant to the customer in matters of frontend design, user experience and requirement specification, and performed some implementation tasks in the numerous Microsoft technologies in play in the system (including C# / .NET).

I worked on two projects in my time at Systematic – eFPI and a classified project for a Danish government agency.eFPI is a SOA system in use throughout the Danish finance sector. My activities as a key member of my development teams included analysis, design, test, implementation and support of numerous enterprise-class software products. Through my role I gained extensive experience with the BEA / Oracle Weblogic suite, including the Aqualogic Service Bus (now Oracle Service Bus).In addition to my role as a developer I was an active participant in the company’s User Experience and Simplicity in Design ‘Knowledge Networks’. For the last year of my employment, I acted as Point Of Contact for the User Experience group, with responsibility for its smooth running.
