Synthesizes evidence to provide an accurate assessment of teacher performance towards student mastery. Accurately assesses teacher performance over time based on standards tied to student mastery. Utilizes research-based and differentiated learning strategies in individual and group professional development sessions. Promote Common Core Mastery by fostering a school-wide focus on the standards and assessing teacher knowledge of skills necessary to attain mastery of these standards and the use of effective tools to ensure student meet standards. Ensures curricular materials, text and rigorous instructional strategies are aligned with Common Core Standards. Implements building-wide systems to ensure teachers are creating effective unit and lesson plans aligned to Common Core Standards. Ensures high quality, effective tools to assess and monitor student mastery of Common Core Standards by consistently engaging teacher teams in data cycles of assessment that result in adjustment to instruction.Manages a leadership group to meet student mastery goals by creating mechanisms for collaboration toward shared goals. Develops systems to effectively monitor goals and manage staff, time and operational priorities. Consistently collects and uses qualitative and quantitative data to support student academic and social emotional growth. Facilitates quarterly school-wide reviews and reflection of data to evaluate effectiveness of strategies. Develops strategic partnerships with high-quality community partners to support the school’s vision for student mastery.
