Have recently taken over the Chairmanship (in rotation) of the South West Inter Regional Group of 5 FSB Regions. Looking to carry forward the development of this group, which represents approximately 40,000 small businesses in the South West Area.

Currently the Treasurer of this Breakfast Networking Organisation, based in Torbay. This is a non-profit making business networking organisation, designed to help small businesses within the Torbay area meet other like-minded business professionals to establish a beneficial networking organisation of self-help and encouragement.

Media spokesman for the Federation of Small Businesses in Devon. Regular meetings with our District, Unitary and County Councils, MP's, MEP's providing them with regualar information concerning the current situation with small businesses in the county. Ensuring policy objectives set by the policy committee are planned and acheived for the benefit of the organisation. Raising national issues affecting small businesses generally with the media here in the South-West.

To set the strategic direction of the Business Growth and Diversification Small Business Grant Scheme. To appraise projects in terms of eligbility and strategic fit.To approve individual projects under delegated authority. To monitor the overall financial management of projects. To monitor the overall achievement of outcomes/outputs of projects. To make sure regular progress reports to the South Devon Coastal LAG team.

Responsible for the day to day running of the Restaurant in conjunction with the other working directors. Main responsibilities were management accounts, front of house, staff recruitment and training.

Responsible for the day to day running of the hotel. Preparing monthly financial management accounts; staff payroll; staff training; liasing with marketing team on overseas trade.
