Daily transmission of billing-quality data demonstrated in extended field test.o Designed, built, and delivered prototype automated cockpit display test equipment for GE Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). This test equipment used a scanning CCD line array to verify accuracy and calibration for aircraft cockpit displays. Developed interferometric calibration process for commercial lead screws to meet system accuracy requirements at low cost.o Technical lead for UV Phenomenology project exploring use of optical signatures to infer physical properties of exoatmospheric objects. Implemented efficient Monte Carlo simulation of free-particle dynamics and chemistry to predict spectra of out gassing objects under solar illumination. Simulation supported numerous rocket-borne experiments.o Developed effectiveness drawdown models for space surveillance systems under antisatellite threat. Simulation exploited limitations in potential resources, timing and geometry to pre-calculate probability of destruction for all feasible attack opportunities. This strategy reduced the complexity of a simulation run to traversing a static decision tree and generated good statistical results in a complex environment.
