My time in the Marine Corps was littered with lessons about leadership, strategy, team building, and facing adversity. I was blessed with the opportunity to fail fast and learn from my mistakes and the mistakes of those around me. Luckily, I was encouraged by leaders far greater than myself to adapt quickly and always push for mission success. I have seen first-hand how maintaining total accountability for yourself and those you are responsible for is a key factor to achieving success amongst a team. Problem solving and innovating is a major source of joy in my life. I enjoy taking new approaches, organizing efforts, finding solutions, and collaborating with team members. I hate the word "can't." If we as a human race have learned anything about the rapid rate of technological advancement over the years it's that anything is possible. We are landing rockets back on earth and propagating nuclear fusion with giant lasers. We can sense gravitational waves… What!? If you think it you can do it, (eventually.)
