As Sales Associate, It is our job to know the fine details of our products as well as market them to customers. We are expected to not only be competent in our department but to be experts. My experience has taught me the inner workings of the Paint industry and as well as what goes into keeping a business running in the retail sector on the ground level. Through sales and promotions, or simple customer interactions, my ability to sell, market, and advertise products have been exercised to their fullest potential.

As a Peer Educator at Indiana University of Pennsylvania's The Haven Project, we serve to educate our community on sensitive topics such as sexual assault, domestic violence, rape, stalking, and other related topics. It is our duty work to make our university safer and provide students and faculty with the resources they would need during unforeseen circumstances. We also host multiple events around campus to give survivors a chance to take their voice back. Required of us is leadership, content creation, professionalism, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.

As a Social Media Marketing Intern I will be directly working under The Haven project, the department for sexual violence education at IUP in which I am currently employed as a Peer Educator. It will be my responsibility to utilize social media to promote educational content and increase student engagement. My duties include researching new relevant content, drafting interactive posts, multi-media content creation, monitoring connections, and promoting events. This position will challenge me to develop time management skills, my ability to multitask, and perhaps the hardest of all, remaining flexible during times of unforeseen changes.
