CurrentThe Xenon MRI Shared Resource laboratory team is at the forefront of developing novel technology for imaging the lungs of patients with pulmonary disease, and multiple NIH and industry-sponsored studies of this exciting technique are ongoing.As a member of this team, I play a key role in operating and maintaining the devices that generate, measure, and store the hyperpolarized gas for real-time use in patient imaging studies. I also undertake additional engineering/design projects that support the program and improve processes of this technology.
