Hired, trained, and developed a talented, cross-functional team in servicing all aspects of Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Display Advertising, Conversion Optimization, and Analytics Reporting for SmartClick's clients spanning a broad spectrum of categories including Restaurants, Apparel, Packaged Goods, Education, Adventure Travel, Personal Care, and Appliances.

Personally managed all Search Engine Marketing, Display Advertising, and Analytics Reporting for SmartClick's clients, working directly with clients end-to-end. Recruited, hired, and trained our growing media staff and developed the genesis of our team's project management process.

Managed the creation, development and execution of day-to-day online Pay Per Click and Display Advertising programs for SmartClick’s clients. Pioneered the agency's approach to keyword and demographic research; the design and build-out of campaigns in Google AdWords, Facebook, and Yahoo Search Marketing platforms (previous to Bing Ads); copy writing for text ads to optimize click-throughs and conversions; creation of XML data feeds for Google Merchant programs; work with freelancers and agency partners to develop, test, and optimize display ads; and the development and management of landing page Conversion Rate Optimization tests.

Trained and oriented the efforts of a 15-person sales staff in the outdoor adventure rental and retail shop on Brigham Young University-Idaho's campus. Created a strategic promotions calendar with bi-monthly rental specials based on prior-year trends and product seasonality. Coordinated rental and sales promotions with campus events department. Produced creative video, web, print, and e-mail advertising.

Sold, rented, and repaired top name-brand outdoor equipment in nearly every category - snow, sun, water, rock, etc. Assisted customers with their purchases and rentals in person, by e-mail, and over the phone. Participated in weekly sales training on product lines.

Created a career portal for marketing students at Brigham Young University-Idaho by way of access to AMA resources, professional networking, small business consulting projects, competitions, and leadership opportunities.

Provided pro bono marketing consulting to local businesses by directing the work of university student teams, building relationships with the business owners, and outside resources procurement.

Performed due diligence and market analysis for clients included the creation, execution, and analysis of a consumer voice survey for a regional technical college; a feasibility study for an entrepreneurial venture out of Pocatello, Idaho; and a market research project for a carbon-composites manufacture in Provo, Utah, looking to enter the cycling market as an OEM. In addition to my own efforts, I led two four-person teams of student consultants who assisted in research for the projects.

Conducted focus groups and surveys to understand demand, project feasibility, brand awareness, and ad campaign effectiveness. In response, I developed and introduced new products and created an integrated marketing campaign (i-Bambino was a semester-long on-campus business founded, operated, and then closed by our team of 25 students concurrently enrolled in 300-level courses - Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Finance).

Assisted financial project teams in restructuring the company’s commission system. Produced reports on company culture, employee profiles, and financial team meetings. Served customers as an outfitter and information source for climbing/biking/canyoneering adventures in Zion National Park.

Served the people of Brazil for two years on a volunteer basis. Adapted quickly to local customs and trained other missionaries in a leadership capacity with responsibility over twenty other missionaries. Organized local and regional events, including a charitable donation of 450 wheelchairs.
