Even a small amount of growth is still growth, and it may not necessarily be in what one would expect. Through breaking out of my comfort zone and moving out to the Deep South alone to start college, I exposed myself to another side of life. Independence, the essence of adulthood (or so I thought), big dreams, and a whole lot of homesickness. Studying away from home after being raised in such a protective environment was eye-opening, and was the first time I truly thought of my own growth.Working for a multifaceted company has given me a multifaceted skill set. I learned to work with peers on a more professional level (as opposed to only finishing a class project) in order to complete a task. I learned about what a painstaking process it is to ensure customer information in a database, acquired through cross-referencing and research, is entirely correct, down to every last typed character. I learned about how quickly and accurately I can input information and that I'm a fairly skilled writer. Most importantly, I found confidence. I learned that I'm going to be able to 'make it' as part of our labor force.I'll be able to grow even more. Learn new concepts, learn to work with new people, and learn to further enhance my own personal abilities. With that, I'll surely be able to enhance a company with my contributions.
