My professional experience began in the summers of my undergrad work at UF, working out of Victor Raymos' home in Gainesville, FL. Accompanied with teaching me the basics of architecture he also taught me to strum the six string, which we were sure to play at least once a work day. I began learning how buildings go together with residential - light commercial size projects including a (9) unit apartment complex and a pediatric clinic. After grad school I began working with VMDO. I love this firm as it is rooted and established around the family with a contagious atmosphere that sparks innovative design solutions.Education architecture is incredible to discover and more importantly to perform. Each project is unique to it's place and community and centers around the educator and pupil, whether it is a 1st grader or senior in college.
