Provided tactical and technical guidance to subordinates and the Company Commander, provided professional support to both in the accomplishment of their duties; ensured individual training of enlisted Soldiers; advised the Commander on all aspects of Company business to include soldier training, tactical advisement and subordinate development. Managed and maintained all company equipment value in excess of $17,000,000. • Oversaw planning and execution of logistical support and resupply operations covering thirteen Village Stability platforms encompassing all of Special Operations Task Force North. Coordinated all methods of resupply to include mounted and air drop resupply, resulting in sustained combat operations to some of the most remote areas in Afghanistan.• Selected to lead over 30 multi service clearing operations lasting 72 hours or greater with U.S. and Afghani Special Forces throughout Special Operations Task Force West, received laudatory comments for exceptional leadership during these highly kinetic, no fail missions.• Organized and implemented a training plan for over 3,500 soldiers during the 2012 3rd Brigade Expert Infantryman’s Badge competition.

Responsible for the technical and tactical training, individual proficiency, health, welfare, morale and readiness of a forwardly deployed, thirty five man Airborne Infantry Rifle platoon while conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Stood up a Village Stability Platform (VSP), at least 30 miles from the nearest friendly force. Led all aspects of VSP creation from identifying and leasing a dwelling to standing up force protection procedures and resupply, throughout constant aggressive enemy opposition. Conducted constant security checks, local patrols and offensive and defensive maneuvers to further the mission of the VSP and the village we were there to protect. Organized and implemented a rigorous training plan aimed to prepare select local citizens for service as a village police officer. Maintained a proven record of identifying threats, responding to incidents and exercising the correct actions as required by the situation.• Developed effective Standard Operating Procedures centered around initiation and maintenance of force protection measures and procedures for a partnered Special Operations Command within Special Operations Task Force West, including Marine Special Operations, Navy Seals, Afghan Special Forces and Afghan Local Police, recording over 150 joint forces tactical combat operations.• Made critical, no fail mission decisions on a daily basis and maintained a safe working environment to mitigate risk, resulting in zero accidents and non-battle injuries while serving in the most volatile area of the Helmand Province.
