Athletics Event and Facility Management. Supervising and mentoring an Event Coordinator, 2 Graduate Assistants, and 20 part-time event staff. Project Manager. Collaborative Leader.

I have been working at Old Dominion University since 2016 and currently serve as the Director Of Athletic Facilities & Events.In this position, I oversee aspects of capital projects and scheduling for all campus athletics facilities. I also supervise the event management staff and oversee the event operations for all home contests as well as any NCAA or conference championships hosted by ODU.

I oversee game operations for ODU men's and women's basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and wrestling. I coordinate facility operations and scheduling for L.R. Hill Sports Complex along with scheduling for S.B. Ballard Football Stadium and the Jim Jarrett Gymnasium. On a daily basis I supervise 4 graduate assistants and 16 student workers. I help coordinate capital construction projects, currently a new basketball practice facility and L.R. Hill Sports Complex expansion.

-I'm the main facility contact for Nick Denes Field, the WKU Track and Field Complex, and the WKU Tennis Complex.-Game Manager for WKU baseball games, soccer matches, and track and field events. -Responsible for assisting with the management of all WKU athletic facilities and events including Houchens Industries/L.T. Smith Stadium (22,000 capacity) and E.A. Diddle Arena (7,300 capacity).-Responsible for hiring, training and supervising event staff.-Parking liaison -Assist with the event management and operations duties for men's and women's basketball, football, volleyball, and softball.-Assist in the planning, management, and execution of all special events in WKU athletic facilities.-Event setups and tear downs-Facility conversions-Crowd management-Day-to-day operations assisting with facility maintenance issues.

I assisted in the management and operation of all WKU (NCAA Division I—FBS) athletic facilities and events, including a 7,300 seat multi-purpose arena, a 22,000 seat football stadium, soccer/softball complex, baseball stadium, and track and field complex. My primary responsibility is assisting with the event management and operations duties for men's and women's basketball, football, volleyball, and softball. In addition to athletic events, I assist in the planning, management, and execution of all special events at WKU athletic facilities, such as: concerts, commencements, athletic team banquets, press conferences, ceremonies, high school athletic events, Sun Belt Conference championships, NCAA championship events, and other revenue generating special events. My duties include any set-up, breakdown, game management, crowd management, guest service, day-to-day operations, assisting with facility maintenance issues, and other duties as necessitated by upcoming events and facility issues.
