Encompassing layout, editing, design work, and course scheduling, this role focused on creating training manuals to teach BMW technicians about new vehicles. I also assisted with the BMW Service Technician Education Program (STEP), which offers training, specialty programs, and job placement to young technicians. Additionally, I wrote and edited marketing materials for BMW through an outside agency.

After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara, I moved to Czech Republic for five years and worked in various capacities as an artist/designer, writer/journalist, and translator/interpreter. With trade licenses (Živnostenské listy) for translating the Czech language and TEFL certification I worked as a teacher and interpreter for various clients. When the Czech sporting goods company HUSKY (www.huskyeu.eu) was starting up, I traveled with its CEO through China and Taiwan for quality control factory visits of their first products.
