Greater Pittsburgh Area

After working hard the previous summer I was given more responsibilities in my second summer with Lindenmeyr Munroe. My typical day would start off with confirming shipments. Next, I was responsible for placing the paper orders from schools in the Pittsburgh area. I would also help out in the sample department. Lastly, I completed a project for the marketing manager, which provided the company nearly 1,000 new opportunities for business.

Greater Pittsburgh Area

My responsibilities in the store consisted of keeping the store and warehouse area clean and organized. I also helped customers with their needs like finding a certain carton of paper or loading their car. After a few weeks I moved into the office area where I worked in the sample department. The sample department is responsible for putting together samples to send to potential customers. Lastly, I helped out with miscellaneous tasks that helped everyone out.

Greater Pittsburgh Area

I was part of the impact team at Hollister in Ross Park Mall where I learned to work efficiently with others. The impact team was responsible for processing shipment, organizing and controlling inventory, and preparing the inventory for the sales floor. I improved my customer service greatly. I also learned how to take charge and be a leader when I was one of the employees with the most experience.
