With the goal of celebrating Northern Michigan, MyNorth Media is a regional media company that reaches over 3 million people. Mediums include Traverse, Northern Michigan’s Magazine plus 8 niche print publications, MyNorth.Com, a website design/build division that serves over 200 area organizations, and MyNorthTickets.Com which offers an online ticket sales software to regional organizations in a diverse events market through a SAAS program called GeoTix, which is now licensed to media companies nationwide. MyNorth Media also creates high quality custom publications for some of Northern Michigan's most recognizable organizations. MyNorth Media was named one of Michigan's 50 Companies to Watch in 2014. My main role was new sales and account management of our digital solutions clients including website design-build, MyNorthTickets and ShopMyNorth. I also managed our custom publishing division including sales and project management. My role in licensing our ticketing software platform, GeoTix to other media companies throughout the country was integral in launching the new platform.

Fresh Coast Chocolate Co. produces handcrafted chocolate bars and organic and responsibly traded cocoa based specialty food products for sale in retail outlets, cafe's, grocery stores and online at www.freshcoastchocolate.com. I co-founded the company as Just Good Chocolate with my wife, which has recently undergone a name change to Fresh Coast Chocolate Co. and is now open as a retail tasting room and factory cafe at 221 Garland Street in Traverse City's Warehouse District.

WD WEB Company is a SAAS software, marketing and design company offering online proofing and sales services catered to professional and amateur photographers worldwide.My role was to sell new software products and I also launched a search engine optimization training program aimed at retaining over 1,700 clients through the value added service of teaching them to better utilize existing content management tool sets in order to gain maximum exposure for their businesses.

Fair Trade Marketplace was an online storefront that retailed fairly traded handmade crafts sourced from artisan members of fair trade cooperatives around the world.My role was vendor relationship management and online marketing strategy. The company was eventually sold and is no longer in operation.
