I am a history and politcal science student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2025. I have a passion for historical preservation and military history, which led me to join the UW MIA Recovery and Identification Project as a research volunteer in June 2023. I also have strong leadership skills and a commitment to community service, demonstrated by my role as the chapter president of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity in 2023.As a research volunteer at the UW MIA Project, I assist with the identification and recovery of missing American service members from past conflicts, using archival sources, databases, and forensic methods. I have developed presentation skills, archival analysis, and attention to detail through this experience. As the chapter president of Phi Gamma Delta, I oversaw the committee, event, judicial, and house management of a chapter of around 150 members, working to uphold the traditions and high standards of the fraternity. I also focused on implementing new ideas and policies to better the surrounding community and the fraternity, such as organizing fundraisers, service projects, and diversity initiatives. These experiences have prepared me to contribute to the mission and vision of your organization, as I can bring diverse perspectives, collaborative spirit, and innovative solutions to your team.
