Primarily work with large health system clients, with particular focus on academic medicine and faculty practice plans. Project highlights include development of a single hospital/physician integrated revenue cycle organization ($6 billion/year organization), transition of ~20 academic department-managed business operations to single shared services group ($18 million in ongoing net revenue/cost reductions identified, $8 million in one-time), and implementation of provider-based billing (PBB) status and patient-friendly PBB billing method across ~80 clinic locations ($61 million financial impact from recurring visit revenue and 340B Drug Pricing Program savings). Demonstrate proficiency in several relevant areas across revenue cycle, payor reimbursement, clinical operations, and general healthcare management project types: process optimization; organizational and governance redesign; data analysis and financial modeling; staffing analyses; build vs. buy staffing decisions; vendor selection and management; KPI and measurable outcome development; IT systems (EHR, practice management) selection, design, and implementation; general deliverable preparation and presentation skills; and an ability to communicate across broad audiences.
