CurrentAs a Talent Acquisition Sourcer (TAS) I am responsible for the design and execution of traditional and innovative strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, attract, and introduce IBM to the best talent in the marketplace.As a TAS I partner with Talent Acquisition and the business in which they influence the sourcing strategy through their domain expertise, analytics capabilities, and market intelligence.Our digital eminence and industry expertise enables us to connect with the most competitive talent, matching potential candidates with IBM opportunities, to build qualified and engaged talent pipelines for current and future business requirements.In addition, my responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Proactively identify IBM’s hiring needs and help fill vacancies with qualified employees. • Work with client facing senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create a sourcing plan.• Source candidates through a variety of search methods (social media such as Linkedin, GitHub etc., IBM’s applicant tracking system, Job boards, networking, employee referrals, Boolean searches etc.). • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs• Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks• Promote IBM’s employer brand online and offline• Maintain candidate databases (e.g. IBM’s award winning Applicant Tracking System--Brassring and CRM system Smashfly)• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
