Lately I've had the opportunity of partnering with Legacy Pie Co, a new pie concept that's growing steadily across Denver, CO. As the Owner's Representative, I oversee and manage tenant improvement projects through all construction phases (from property selection, design, pre-construction to delivery). I work closely with the Restaurant Owner and manage the entire development process, which includes: - Analyzing, touring, and acquiring the perfect property (incl. LOI submission and lease negotiation)- Hiring the best project team (Architect, GC, Equipment Vendors, etc.)- Reviewing + iterating the Contract Documents through all design phases, from SDs to CDs - Conducting an effective bid management process to minimize scope gaps - Optimizing Owner costs by facilitating value engineering opportunities - Coordinating procurement and install of all Owner-supplied scope items- Owning the overall construction Budget and Schedule and maximizing visibility in real time - Coordinating the construction period (facilitating Submittals, RFI's, inspections, punch list walks, etc.) - Conducting a smooth Turnover period including staff training Throughout each project, I also provide design services for scopes like millwork, signage, lighting, & FOH customer experience.

Great companies figure out how to deliver great products because they obsess over their customer's problems. They fall in love with their customer's problems, instead of their own solutions. As a Product Manager, I've learned that delivering successful products comes down to our ability to learn, iterate, and take risks. Yes, communication and leadership absolutely matter and should not be overlooked. But we really only win when we're truly able to solve customer problems and help them win. I build teams that experiment rapidly. We identify and develop our customer personas. We learn about our customer's functional, emotional and social needs. Then we rapidly innovate and build testable prototypes. We quickly gather in-market feedback with customers to learn how to better solve their problems. I prioritize and organize the product backlog, constantly align product strategy with key stakeholders, work alongside effective scrum teams to deliver valuable products fast, and work with other Product Managers to improve the quality of our overall product.In this season I've had the honor of working across two products: Journey Studio and Church Explorer. Journey Studio helps leaders, coaches, and mentors build digital "growth plans" to help their clients accomplish their goals. For example, a fitness coach can build and send digital workout plans to their clients. As each client works through the "growth plan," the coach can track individual and group progress, send encouragement as needed, and collect data on how to improve future growth plans. Clients can view their progress dashboard and collect badges as they complete additional growth plans. Church Explorer is a (B2B/B2C) platform that connects community members to local church offerings, such as Sunday services, volunteer opportunities, and community gatherings.

Great product teams deliver effective products much faster when they prioritize continuous innovation and rapid prototyping, and minimize time through the Build-Measure-Learn feedback loop. I had the opportunity to lead three of our Partner initiatives through our Product Development Process. In these 3 use cases, we built rapid prototypes, measured success through meaningful metrics, and learned how to improve their product... FAST! I conducted Google Design Sprints with each team so we could: - Define customer personas and understand their most important problems - Interview subject matter experts to help us ideate - Diverge as a team to sketch several customer experiences that solve the problem- Select common concepts and draft a unified wireframe solution- Build a testable prototype (in one day) - Test the prototype in market by interviewing actual customers (in one day) - Collect feedback and iterate This rapid development process continues to lead to better products with measurable value, and ultimately greater company success.

In partnership with Fortune-300 company, Thrivent Financial, our team built and delivered a successful financial product for millennial couples. Delivering this go-to-market product demanded rapid innovation, ideation, in-market testing, refinement, product market fit, and at-scale design. As a Project Manager (and certified SAFe Scrum Master), I had the opportunity to work closely with our CEO, COO, and other stakeholders to organize our latest Fortune 500 partnership. With over 75 employees across two large organizations, the new partnership demanded extensive cross-org collaboration, tool-alignment, meeting cadence, working agreements, vision alignment, and team structure. Establishing and implementing Agile principles consistently improved our delivery time and led to more effective and agile teams.
