Current• Managing 18 staff on a full time basis – responsible for all aspects of staff development and training• Member of Senior Management Board• Project Managed Numerous SAN & server installations / consolidations for customers ranging in size from 3 servers to 130, responsible for one to ten other engineers• Production of IT strategy documents for major companies (London Borough of Harrow, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Visa, Bromford Housing…) to deliver two/three or five year plans for their entire IT infrastructure• Produced DR plans for a number of major client with dual/multiple site access• Designed SAN solutions to cope with well over 100TB of information• Written and assisted in implementing BS7799 security policies and procedures • Project Managed installation of various Windows/Netware server systems on Compaq and IBM hardware, including the complete reorganisation of financial company’s server infrastructure.• Assisted in technical installation of SAN/NAS and consolidated backup solutions for customers.• Produced security reports for various clients, checking their internal and external security systems and their configuration.• Planned companies move of IT equipment between numerous sites for relocations and new building installations.• Network analysis and documentation of network faults.• Implement new network infrastructures.• Project Managed upgrade of second network facility for large company, leading a team of four other engineers.
