• Responsible for annual plant KPI’s, including overall cost reduction, net working capital and supplier on time/quality objectives.• Manage SCM department of 7 employees and Inventory control department of 12.• Leverage ABB SCM strategies and tools to facilitate buyer knowledge and continuous improvement. • Create projects, timelines and action plans to achieve cost savings and process improvement goals.• Global commodity manager for ABB Recloser and ANSI Switchgear product lines. Cross functional team members include R&D, SCM and Product Management from USA, Mexico and Argentina, with the objective of reducing cost while ensuring global product alignment. .• Collaborate with ABB Mexico team to reduce cost on products manufactured in ABB’s production site in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Working knowledge of Mexico Steel and Copper markets. • Participate in new product development from Gate Zero to ensure on time release of new products at an optimized cost. • Collaborate with key suppliers to reduce lead time, inventory and material cost to meet or exceed customer expectations.
