The Pomona Academy for Youth Success (PAYS) is a month-long, intensive summer program focused on college readiness for low-income, first-generation high school students of color. As the writing tutor, I assist PAYS students and teaching assistants by providing feedback on written work, leading writing workshops, coordinating study sessions, and ensuring.
