Director Of Events & Operations At Chartway Arena & S.B Ballard Stadium
Current- Responsible for the day-to-day operations and execution of events at Chartway Arena, an 8,500-seat multi-use arena, along with the game day facility operations at S.B. Ballard Stadium, a 22,000-seat outdoor football stadium. - Work directly with ODU Athletics for Football and Men’s & Women’s Basketball games at Chartway Arena and S.B. Ballard Stadium.- Properly advance shows with promoters, tours, and clients for the arena and stadium. Contract with production vendors to ensure equipment for the riders is provided per the advance. - Monitor and allocate approximately one million dollars of the facility's operations budget. - Work alongside the General Manager to update event settlements before and during show days. Have clients sign off on all final show-related expenses for final settlement. - Create event information sheets and monthly schedules to distribute to event stakeholders, community members, and campus individuals to notify them of the event's impact on the area. - Create capital project lists while tracking and monitoring all building expenses. This includes tracking the budget monthly and reconciling with the finance department to ensure all financial reports are accurate. - Ensure daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance of the facility is being completed and documented.- Manage S.B. Ballard Stadium event staffing, parking, and tailgating logistics on football game days and contracted special events.
