Head Of Communications And Engagement
CurrentDuties and responsibilities include;• Lead the Communication and Engagement team• Evaluate and report progress against the strategic communications objectives• Advise on communications issues, best practice and other developments• Responsible for developing, reviewing and delivering the communication & engagement strategy• Train staff in communications• Preparation of written (printed and online) media, including editing and writing the annual report, science news and impact case studies• Lead the delivery of corporate level reporting and publications• Press office functions – including managing incoming media inquiries and writing press releases.• Maintain relationships and work closely with a number of external press offices, communication teams and web teams• Oversee the social media and produce content for these platforms• Event management a range of of internal and external events, including expos and conferences, and public and stakeholder engagement events
