Entrench new products as these are developed and become ready for implementation locally.Build and maintain an appropriate network with industry, academia, government and service providers in the field of site rehabilitation sciences. Increase visibility and profile in local technical, governmental and institutional bodies. Promote and ensure technical integration between business units to effectively deliver on projects by primarily providing the tie-over between the disciplines and/or business units in terms of the service offerings.

Responsible for developing and maintaining a core research and development department within the corporate structure of the East Rand Water Care Company (ERWAT). During my employment at ERWAT, I was seconded (3 days/week) to the University of Pretoria, Department of Chemical Engineering, Water Utilisation Division on a part time basis to implement the Chair in Wastewater Management.
